PAT Tester

Due to continued growth, this company is expanding and looking to recruit PAT Testers for roles in Northern Ireland.

The Role

• Conduct In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) adhering to the latest edition of the IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results that align with the standards expected by clients and external accrediting bodies.
• Ensure the safety of all portable electrical items for use.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure efficient completion of work while minimizing disruption to their operations.
• Adhere to Health & Safety Regulations while managing appliance testing.
• Maintain meticulous records and submit paperwork promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience
• Possession of a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. No DR10 conviction in the past 5 years.
• City and Guilds 2377 qualification is essential, attainable during the probationary period if not already acquired, at your own expense.
• All necessary equipment provided; your responsibility is to conduct testing to the company's high standards and uphold positive customer relationships to ensure annual renewals.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Travel to Scotland maybe required (Enhanced Rate will be paid)

Working Hours

Mon-Thursday 8am-4.15pm

Friday 8am-3pm
