Social Work Manager

Are you a Social Worker with line management experience looking for a part time opportunity based in Belfast?

 

We have a fantastic opportunity to lead but also shape services making incredible differences in the lives of children and families.  You will support and supervise 6 Therapeutic Social Workers working across Sexual Abuse Recovery and Early Intervention in Pregnancy services.

 

You will job share this role with another experienced Social Worker and have peer support and supervision through the Team Manager Forum with the Foyle and UK Teams.  This Organisation also offer excellent training, therapeutic support and career progression opportunities.

 

CRITERIA:

Social Work Degree and registered or open to registering with NISCC

Comprehensive knowledge, practice experience and skills in relation to child protection investigation, assessment of risk and need and the management of complex child protection cases evidenced through post qualification work experience.

Line management experience of junior staff

 

We particularly welcome applications from Social Workers with experience within mental health or domestic abuse services.

Salary £37,500 to £47,200 pro rata dependent on experience

Work Pattern will be either and preference will be given to the successful applicant.

Monday, Tuesday and half day Wednesday

OR

Half day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
