We are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Research & Development Administrator on behalf of the SE Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks to assist in the efficient assessment of research applications, and to support in the delivery of research activity to time and target at SEHSCT. Key tasks will include: supporting the capacity and capability (C&C) review of study applications and study amendments; management of invoicing and reconciliation of study income; monitoring and audit of ongoing research activity; and organising events to communicate study results to research participants and other stakeholders.
The post holder will support and advise research applicants and study Sponsors and will work collaboratively with regional colleagues within the HSC R&D infrastructure including those in the N.I. Central Governance Function. Additionally, the post holder will support the development of SEHSCT study protocols and will coordinate applications for funding as well as applications for regulatory approvals via the Integrated Research Application System (IRAS). The post holder will be an integral member of the R&D team and be expected to use their own initiative.
Located in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.
Salary will be £12.25 per hour.
This is an ongoing contract and working pattern will be full-time hours, Monday – Friday.
The ideal candidate will have the following to be considered upon their application:
1a. HNC/HND or equivalent/higher
qualification in an administrative field
AND 1 years’ administrative experience
at band 3 (or higher).
OR
1b. NVQ 3 (in an administrative field) or
equivalent, and 2 year’s administrative
experience, at Band 3 (or higher)
OR
1c. Four GCSE’s at grade A*-C to include
Mathematics and English or English
Language (excluding English Literature)
or equivalent/higher AND 3 years’
administrative experience at band 3 (or
higher)
OR
1d. Four years’ experience at band 3 (or
higher)
