Social Work Manager

We are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker for a Senior Operations Manager within Emergency Accommodation services based in Belfast. 

 

Salary: £40,284 - £44,112

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. There will be a requirement to occasionally work unsocial hours and for travel throughout Northern Ireland

 

JOB SUMMARY

• To be the lead in social work interventions and support across the Organisation inclusive of Safeguarding.
• To ensure day to day operational delivery of services, and that the strategic objectives and policies for homeless people are developed and applied consistently across all sites for which the post holder has responsibility.
• To ensure that the performance outcomes, as agreed with the Director of Homelessness Services, are delivered.

 

Criteria

 

Qualifications

• A professional social work qualification

• Registered on the appropriate part of the NISCC register, without condition.

 

Experience

• 4 years’ work experience in any health or social care setting working with

vulnerable young people or people experiencing homelessness in one or more of

the service user groups supported by Simon Community NI.

• 2 years’ experience in a relevant operational management capacity in a health and

social care setting.

• Post registration training and learning.

• Experience of inputting into the development and implementation of services in

one or more of the service user groups supported by Simon Community NI

• Experience of working successfully at a senior professional and/or managerial

level in

- Strategy development and implementation of service delivery

- performance improvement
