Band 5 or 6 Dietitian

We are recruiting on behalf of the BHSCT for a Band 5 or 6 Dietitian.  This vacancy is based in Acute, Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

Job Summary

To assist the Dietetic Services Manager in the provision of a high quality comprehensive Nutrition & Dietetic Service.

To assess and treat inpatients and outpatients and determine independent nutritional diagnosis/diagnoses and resultant diet therapy indicated, as deemed appropriate.

To liaise with relevant staff to promote good nutritional care for all patients.

Essential Criteria

Degree, Diploma / MSc or equivalent qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.

Hold a full current driving license valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment .

Where disability prohibits driving, this criteria will be waived if the applicant is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
