Part time B6 Speech & Language Therapist (Sure Start)

We currently have a position within the Belfast Trust for a Speech and Language Therapist for Sure Start.  The post is available from 01 Nov 2022 to 31 March 2023 with possible extension.

This is a Band 6 post and the minimum experience requirement is 2 years.

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a specialist Speech and Language Therapy service within the Sure Start Project/s. They will work as part of the Sure Start team and in close liaison with core Speech & Language Therapy services within the Belfast HSCT. Interagency liaison with Education, Community and Voluntary sector and Early Years services within the Sure Start project area will be required to promote and develop a collaborative approach to the management of children with speech, language and communication needs. This will be delivered across a range of programmes and settings for example family homes, playgroups, Developmental Programme for 2-3 Year Olds, community venues.

Post holders will require a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car.

Access NI check is required.

Current registration with HCPC is required.

Hours of work - 7 hours per week or 10.75 (other S&L posts are available if more hours are required)
