Integrated Housing and Community Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a senior support worker based in Lisburn. Integrated Workers support young people to build the skills and confidence to maintain their own homes. Young people will receive individualised support based on support planning ongoing assessment/review and keeping safe were appropriate. The role of an Integrated Worker is to provide a range of interventions to assist Young People aged 16-25 to access and/or maintain their own accommodation.

You will be part of a rota pattern that includes evenings and waking nights. Full Job Description available on request. Fixed Term to June 2022. 

CRITERIA

• 2 years’ experience of working with young people age 16-25 in supported housing or community based support or similar environment
• OR Degree in Social Work, Youth and Community Work or similar AND 1 years’ experience of working with young people age 16-25 in supported housing or community based support or similar environment
• Experience of assessing risk and safety planning in order to keep young people safe
• Experience of assessing need and support planning for young people
• NISCC Registered (or willing to become registered if appointed) and willing to be subject to Access NI checks. (Successful applicants must commence NISCC registration process prior to employment).
• Valid driving license and access to a car or other form of transport to undertake duties associated with the role. You will be required to provide transport to young people as part of this role
• Willing to undertake an Enhanced Access NI check
