Graduate Scoping & Scheduling Co-Ordinator

Keenan Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a leading independent disaster restoration company, for a Scoping & Scheduling Co-Ordinator to join their growing team.

The Company

Our client specialises in cleaning and restoring properties affected by fires, floods and other disasters. They have a team of fully trained technicians who have helped hundreds of home and business owners through successfully restoring their damaged properties. They take care of all aspects of the fire, flood, storm or impact claim from ‘cradle to grave’. One contractor with the full range of services and skills to clean, sanitise, strip out, dry, deodorise, deal with contents, repair and re-instate.

The Role

Due to continued growth our client is recruiting for a Scoping/Scheduling Co-Ordinator. The purpose of this role is to work alongside the surveyors, assessing the data sent through from site visits regarding project and reactive maintenance work required. The successful candidate will then compile this data and scope for these projects whilst working closely with project managers and co-ordinators.

Full training will be provided on the relevant insurance portals and use of scoping tools.

Day to Day duties will involve

  • Taking notification of new insurance building claims and minor construction projects.
  • Ownership of individual projects / claims from initial instruction to job completion
  • Scheduling and arranging appointments for surveyor, technicians, in house trade’s team and sub-contractors.
  • Co-ordinate with surveyors and technicians to scope for the jobs required and ensuring this is communicated accurately to insurance providers via the relevant insurance portals
  • Updating Client online portals of ongoing works and communications
  • Use of specialised software – Exactimater to scope for required jobs

Qualifications & Experience

This role is ideal for a recent graduate from a construction management/building surveying background who is keen to kickstart their career with exposure to commercial work in property and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will have;

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge
  • Willing and eager to learn new skills and proficiencies for new software packages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be confident, Self-motivated and a team player
