Locality & Community Services Manager - Mental Health

We are supporting a Mental Health charity to recruit for an experienced manager to work within the Northern Trust area to deliver and manage the following services. Community and Floating support, Day services, Community Bridge Builders and Carers & Relatives support. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The key management tasks they are responsible for in the interim are:

  • Staff members and teams
  • Asset and resources
  • Service provision
  • Finances
  • Compliance including health and safety, risk & Safeguarding
  • monthly and quarterly reporting including performance and impact measurement.
  • External relationships with commissioners and funders
  • Client engagement

There are two priorities to focus the service development on in the time frame namely Covid recovery and integrating our existing and new services in the locality:

  • Covid recovery: it is essential the staff teams in NHSCT has a clear recovery plan that manages risks involved and is aligned to the Executive’s pathway. This includes both face to face and the development of online services.
  • Integrating services in the locality: There is a key aim within the NHSCT to integrate the service delivery and is expected that the manager can review existing practice and work with the Operational management team on driving the changes required, this considers how best to integrate the delivery model, services, presence across the Trust area and led through client engagement. Reporting on progress is a key task and ability and experience of delivery in this field to consider implementing recommendations to initiate improvements is required.

This role is likely to be in place for 6 months

We are looking for a dynamic leader who is able to show experience working with a diverse client group and key stakeholders in health and social care.  We are looking for an experienced manager who can facilitate change and engage with their team. 

CRITERIA:

Relevant qualification in HR, Leadership and Management and minimum 3 years working in Community or Voluntary sector.

Preference will be given to candidates experience within Housing, Mental Health or Supported Living. 

AND 

Full driving licence and access to a car on appointment.
