Economist

Keenan Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service for a Full-Time Economist to join their Planning and Corporate Affairs Department.

The main purpose of this post is to assist the Capital Projects Manager in the completion of Outline Business Cases (OBCs) for capital projects through the provision of an economics and cost planning service.

Criteria

• A degree in economics or Finance or other relevant Business Degree qualifications or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Relevant recent experience in the last 3 years in the development and preparation of Economic Business Cases/Appraisals (greater than £250,000.00) in line with Treasury NIGEA guidance.
• Candidate will be expected to present evidence of at least 3 Economic Appraisals they have completed in the last 3 years.
