Band 4 Speech and Language Assistant

Keenan Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the South Eastern Trust for a Band 4 Speech and Language Assistant to be based in the Downshire Hospital, Downpatrick.

 As a Speech & Language Therapy Assistant you will be involved in the delivery of the Speech and Language Therapy Service for Adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have experience working with clients with communication difficulties
• Must be able to communicate with clients with poor communication skills
• Must have NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant area plus 2 year relevant experience OR HNC/D in relevant subject or equivalent with 1 years experience OR 4 years relevant experience
• Will be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI through Keenan Recruitment
