Economist

Laura-Lee is currently recruiting for a full time Economist for a Planning and Corporate Affairs Department for our Public Sector Client.

HOURS OF DUTY: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 9.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (36¼ HOURS PER WEEK)

Salary £19.01 per hour (non-negotiable)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To assist the Capital Projects Manager in the completion of Outline Business Cases (OBCs) for capital projects through the provision of an economics and cost planning service.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Relevant recent experience in the last 3 years in the development and preparation of Economic Business Cases/Appraisals (greater than £250,000.00) in line with Treasury NIGEA guidance.

• Candidate will be expected to present evidence of at least 3 Economic Appraisals they have completed in the last 3 years.

• A degree in economics or Finance or other relevant Business Degree qualifications or equivalent professional qualifications.

DESIRABLE

• Clean current Driving Licence.
