Biomedical Scientist - Band 6

Now recruiting 2 x Full-Time Band 6 Biomedical Scientists (Cytology Screener), to be based in Cytology Lab, within a main hospital in Derry / Londonderry.

Suitable applicants must meet the Criteria below:

BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or a Degree which has been approved for registration by the Biomedical Scientist Board of Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

AND

Be fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Band 6 – Specialist Portfolio (Cellular Pathology, Cytopathology)

AND

Minimum of 12 months experience of working in a Hospital based laboratory.

AND

Hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post

You will be willing to undrgo an Enhanced Access NI through Keenan.
