Health and Safety Advisor

Laura-Lee is working with one of our Public Sector clients to recruit for a temporary full time (36.25 per week (Monday – Friday 9.00 – 17.00) 45 min lunch break) Health and Safety Advisor based in Lisburn

Main Purpose of Job:

To advise and support a dedicated Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare team in the design, development and delivery of the Organisation's policy framework.

To advise on compliance with existing H&S related legislation and anticipate future changes.

The strategic planning of policy implementation and setting standards.

Audit inspection and execution of any other valid performance monitoring and measurement strategy.

Criteria:

Corporate membership of IOSH

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years experience as a Safety Officer/Advisor in managerial role

Experience of drafting Safety Policies and Procedures

Extensive Knowledge of H&S Legislation and experience interpreting this knowledge.
