Research Ethics Committee Manager

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Band 5 Research Ethics Committee Manager. This is a great opportunity to gain public sector experience. The main purpose of this job is to ensure that all research taking place within the jurisdiction of the Office for Research Ethics Committees Northern Ireland (ORECNI), BSO receives ethical review within the guidelines of Governance Arrangements for Research Ethics Committees.

Immediate start available.

Part-Time hours (08.30-17.00 Wed & 12.30-16.30 Fri)

Weekly Pay

Free onsite Parking

Minimum 6 month contract

Essential Criteria:

University degree or professional qualification plus one year’s relevant experience in an office/administrative environment to include previous experience of servicing committees, working to specified deadlines, working with people at various levels within an organisation, and management of systems and processes

OR

4 years relevant experience in an office/administrative environment to include previous experience of servicing committees, working to specified deadlines, working with people at various levels within an organisation, and management of systems and processes

AND

6 months working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
