Project Worker

We are delighted to have been selected as a 'Top Tier Supplier of staff' to recruit on behalf of our Client - a very well respected Mental Health organisation, for X1 permanent project worker (floating support) based in Belfast. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, details to be agreed according to the needs of project/rota to provide full cover. Holidays: 25 days holiday per annum (plus 12 public and bank holidays).

This is a mental health setting for people at risk or recovering from mental illness, so that they are enabled to live full and independent lives within the community.

Brief Purpose:

Assist in the maintenance of a therapeutic project in accordance with the professional and administrative policies of Threshold, taking special responsibility for allocated clients.

The project aims to provide a participative environment enabling the client to gain increasing independence and to develop their full potential.

Work Related Experience required:

- Social Care Qualification as recognised by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)

OR

- NVQ Level 3 in Care

- 6 months experience working with people with severe and enduring mental illness OR 6 months experience working with people with a learning disability.

- 6 months residential work experience
