Deputy Project Manager - Permanent

We are delighted to have been selected as a 'Top Tier Supplier of staff' to recruit on behalf of our Client - a very well respected Mental Health organisation, for a permanent Deputy Project Manager based in Belfast.

This is a full time permanent role - 37.5 hours + x1 Sleep in duty per week. EXCELLENT rate of pay, bonus payments for unsociable hours and bleep, training opportunities and the chance to work within a very prestigious Mental Health organisation with great working conditions.

This is a mental health setting for people at risk or recovering from mental illness, so that they are enabled to live full and independent lives within the community.

Brief Purpose:

Assist in the maintenance of a therapeutic project in accordance with the professional and administrative policies, taking special responsibility for allocated clients.

The project aims to provide a participative environment enabling the client to gain increasing independence and to develop their full potential.

Work Related Experience required:

The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in the day to day management of the facility.

Applications are invited from people who currently hold a Psychiatric Nursing Qualification as recognised by the NMC or a Social Work Qualification as recognised by Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) or an Allied Health Professional as recognised by the Health Professional Council (HPC) i.e. Art Therapist or Occupational Therapist or QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

The applicant must also be registered with one of the 3 regulatory bodies.

In addition they must have 2 years post qualifying experience in a therapeutic setting with people with severe and enduring mental illness, have 18 months supervisory experience having been responsible for the performance of two or more staff and have 12 months residential work experience.
