Band 6 Radiopharmacy Technician

On this occasion we are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Trust, Royal Victoria Hospital, Radiopharmacy Department for a Band 6 Clinical Technologist/Radiopharmacy Technician to start as soon as possible.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm

Qualifications & Experience 

To be successful in your application to you will have:

• A degree in a relevant science subject (e.g. Pharmacy, Physics, Chemistry)

OR

• A diploma of the College of Radiographers

OR

• Diploma/HND/HNC in a relevant science discipline plus participation in a suitable scheme of supervised training for a minimum period of 1 year.

OR

• At minimum of 5 years’ experience in a radiopharmaceutical production environment with at least 3 years at band 5 level or equivalent.

AND

2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in one or more of the following: -

• Aseptic dispensing procedures
• Analytical techniques such as HPLC and/or GC/MS systems
• Quality control procedures necessary for the safe production of a GMP compliant radiopharmaceutical production facility

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to be in possession of a satisfactory enhanced Access NI disclosure and Fit to Work certificate, which Keenan Recruitment can provide for you for free!
