Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant

We are working with a specialist Accounting Firm with in-depth knowledge & expertise in a variety of areas such as: Forensic Accountancy, Wealth Management and Auditing & Assurance.  They have offices based across Northern Ireland with local and international clients.   To support their growing business they are recruiting for an Accounting Technician/ Part Qualified Accountants based in Lisburn and Belfast. 

This is a varied role which will suit experienced individuals who are looking for a new challenge.  

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end accounts.

• Personal and corporate tax returns.

• Bookkeeping and VAT returns.

• Developing relationships with clients to get a good understanding of their individual businesses and needs

Criteria:

• Accountancy Qualification

• You must have strong accounts experience within an accountancy practice minimum two years paid experience  

•  Experience with Accounting Programmes including Sage, Quikbooks 

• Must be personable and be able to speak confidently to clients and be responsive to their needs.

• You must have begun or be prepared to begin your professional accountancy qualifications (ACA or ACCA).

The employer is prepared to be flexible regarding working arrangements in line with the COVID restrictions but would require full time support.  Salary will be negotiable depending on experience starting from £20,000pa.
