Senior HR Advisor

Laura-Lee is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor for a Public Sector client based in Lisburn.

Summary of Responsibilities:

1. Assist the HR Manager Organisational Development with the efficient and effective provision of a wide range of Learning and Organisational Development interventions in order to support organisational needs.

2. Take a lead role in the design, delivery and management of Learning and Development interventions, eg, management development programs and personal skills courses in line with organisational need.

3. Take a lead role in the design, delivery and management of Organisational Development initiatives in line with organisational need, eg, team development initiatives, coaching, change programmes and development centres.

Criteria:

Applicants must provide evidence by the closing date for application that they meet the following essential criteria:

1. Possess a relevant third level qualification in a business-related subject or equivalent; and

Have current membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD); and

Have at least two years’ experience of working in a Learning & Development context within a large, multi-site, multi-disciplinary organisation.

OR:

Possess a relevant third level qualification in a business-related subject or equivalent; and

Be working towards achieving CIPD membership; and

Have at least four years’ experience of working in a Learning & Development context within a large, multi-site, multi-disciplinary organisation.

2. Have experience in the design and delivery of Learning & Development interventions, eg, management development programs and personal skills courses.

3. Have experience in the design and delivery of OD initiatives, eg, team development courses, change programs.

4. Have experience in conducting Training Needs Analysis and in the evaluation of training.

5. Can demonstrate:

(a) excellent planning, organisation and prioritising skills.

(b) excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

(c) excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to advise and influence senior management effectively.

(d) a strong customer orientation.

6. Possess a full, current UK driving licence or have access to a form of transport which enables them to fulfil the full requirements of the job.
