Now recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a temporary Non-emergency Call Handler based within a main hospital in Derry. The post holder will be responsible for receiving and processing all non emergency calls throughout Northern Ireland. Operate the Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD) and integrated Command and Control System . The post is temporary ongoing. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain public sector experience.
Full Time hours
Monday - Sunday (shift rotation)
£8.90-£15.49 per hour
Weekly pay
Immediate start available
Essential criteria:
Five GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including English/English Language or equivalent educational qualifications
PLUS
At least one years experience working in a call centre environment or similar ie in a patient, client or customer-focused environment
OR
A minimum of two years experience working in a call centre environment or similar ie in a patient, client or customer-focused environment.
IN Addition to the above
A working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
Ability to work an alternating shift pattern including weekends
Desirable Criteria:
Knowledge of medical terminology.
